π What is FireKit?
FireKit is a tool for Firebase that lets you:
(Note: Not all features are available in the Free Version)
-
Upload/Import
- Bulk JSON data with Sub-Collections to Firestore.
-
Bulk JSON Data directly to Target Sub-CollectionsYou can upload data to target root collections and even child collections within specific documents and that too with unlimited nested sub-collections. For upload, you can choose between an Instant and Regular Upload. Instant Upload creates an update process for every document upload in parallel and everything else happens in the background. Regular Upload on the other hand is slower but a much reliable method. You also get a console window to show the errors if there are while uploading certain documents.
-
Download/Export
- Firestore Collections with Sub-Collections to JSON Files.
- Bulk JSON Data from Target Sub-CollectionsYou can download data from target root collections and even child collections within specific documents and that too with unlimited nested sub-collections. All you have to do is make sure the structure that you have created supports the collection you are trying to download and click on the DOWNLOAD button and choose the download location. The download time depends on the size of the collection and this will give you a well-formatted JSON stored on the location you selected.
by Just a PUSH of a button. (NO CODE REQUIRED)
You create projects and collection structures and save them locally for future use. All you have to do is Select the JSON you wish to Upload, Create a Structure once and use it to upload and download data anytime you need to.
